Yes - and I agree. I don't think there was any intention to cause damage, but it was reckless. Career ending? Not sure, he is young, and players have recovered from this type of injury before, so got to say he might be back.
posted by Fulhamweb - Sunday 28th February 2010, 12:46 PM I know players have back recently from some horrible injuries, eduardo being one, but when i saw his half his leg and foot hanging limp from the rest of his leg i though that was it for him, at best i think he'll come back but will always have limitations in some form or other as a result. Poor guy.

As a wales fan hope ramsey comes back strong. I dont think Shawcross went in with intent but i for one hate the football Stoke play, they can play decent football, as seen against us at the Brittania, but often choose just to play ugly. I can understand teams with limited ability kicking teams to try and stay in the game but its a different story with Stoke. Be nice if they beat Chelski in the cup though
